I love stickers. I have lots of them. When I was little I used to collect them, especially fruit stickers, they were fun. Somehow, though, I just don't seem to use them enough on my layouts, so this was the perfect challenge. In fact, I decided to abandon patterned paper altogether and just use stickers - with a bit of background misting that looks much better in real life, it's very shiny and glimmery!
Some of the stickers are backed onto card and then cut out to make them easier to work with and to layer. I've managed to include:
October Afternoon - Thrift Shop
October Afternoon - 5 and Dime
October Afternoon - Ducks in a Row
Cosmo Cricket - Circa 1934
Cosmo Cricket - Early Bird
Cosmo Cricket - Earth Love
Echo Park - For the Record
Jillibean Soup - Monster Stew

The journalling says that Adam is seven days old and we're heading out on our first trip in the pram - to the voting booths!
Still chopping up the fabulous Quirky Kit! Today I decided to make a couple more layouts from my trip to Wicken Fen with the Parental Units last month. This way I get a bunch of layouts that match each other.
My Mother proving that she's still fun, despite being a Grandmother-To-Be, just don't call her Granny!I wanted to use the Cosmo Cricket Material (Sunrise pattern from Early Bird), so I turned it into a folded ribbon.
I made four of the flower embellishments, so they're all used up now.
Wow! I was finally able to take a decent picture of a layout because the sun came out and I could take it outside! Well, that's exciting for me anyway. This layout turned into a bit of a Cosmo Cricket Love Fest as I used parts from four different collections.
The Twist this week is "Orange" and there are bits of orange scattered over this layout.I finally stopped stroking the ribbon I bought at Liberty's and used them both on this. I love the butterflies so much, although they are a bit of nuisance to stick down, wings everywhere and their antennae come off far too easily
This is actually layout number two. I thought that scrapping Halloween would be the easiest way to use orange, but it just didn't come together, so I ditched the glaringly obvious orange in favour of this more subtle approach.
