More from Melman!

Couldn't have been happier when Stacey Towers latest kit included a giraffe-print paper and some giraffe elements. I've not used them all up in this layout as I want to spread my Giraffe Joy. I did a colour overlay (lighten layer) on the giraffe print so that it would more closely resemble Melman's fur.

B for Barcelona

Digitally doing the weekly challenge! I love how this week the Font of the Week is Willow and actually named after Willow Rosenberg as well! Geeker Joy. :)

Monogram - B (for Barcelona and Birthday)
Something Foreign - Spanish cake in Barcelona & Stacey is from Colorado, so technically the kit is "from" America!
Complementary colours - yep
Scraplift from favourites - Debbie's Sprouts!
Distress - used distressed papers

33rd Birthday

Using more Crate Paper Lemongrass! Love it. Not happy with the numbers, but they'll do.

Made for a UKS Weekly Challenge.

New City

Made for the lastest Scrummy Stash Cafe challenge with the theme of something New for New Year. I've gone with a new city, well, new to me, that is. This La Pedrera in Barcelona on my birthday last year. I've used a bunch of Crate Paper, LemonGrass for this, the colours don't look nearly so good as they do in real life. :(

Casa Battlo

Made this for the Scrummy Stash Cafe's latest challenge. The challenge was to come up with a different way to do journalling. Mine is written round the buttony-flowery things.

Gaudi Afternoon

Made for a UK Scrappers Challenge. Round photo, literary title* and a hand-made embellishment (a little tricky as a digi, but I made the button from scratch). The kit is Blue Lagoon by Sweet Blossom Designs and the font is Santa's Big Secret.

Blimey it was hot on Friday afternoon. We sat in Park Guell, rolled up our sleeves and had a lovely cup of coffee. Today we're back in Blighty wearing extra layers and shivering!
