Another one for a weekly challenge over at UKS.

We had to do the layout based on packaging, film poster of book cover. This is the adapted cover of The Visitor by Sherri S Tepper. Something transforming, so I chose Ducks growing up! Also spring colours and gold - tick and tick! :)

The tour bus - we had free cereal bars afterwards as Pensford is owned by Jordans, the cereal bar people.

Had to use the colour emerald, bling, poetry and movement. Obviously I can't make a movable digital layout, so I chose a picture featuring movement - a fountain.

Baby Book

Went to Pocklington in Yorkshire yesterday to collect a table. Quite a long way to go for some furniture, so we looked for something else to do whilst we were there. I found a craft shop, so was able to buy some shiny new papers! Yay! :)

Today I decided to just go for it and start using my new stash rather than hoarding it for months and months and finally forgetting I have it! OK, so I just used one sheet to make this mini-book, but that's a start.

Here Comes the Sun

Another UKS weekly challenge made up as a digi, but this one is a nice challenge, so I might do this as a paper layout when I have some time!

Bijoux Belles Inchies Swap

Our UKS team decided to have an inchies swap - I wanted to use mine on a layout, but had no idea how to go about it. My Other Half said I should have them growing off a tree, so I went for doodled vines. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, but here it is:

Mummy LO & Daddy LO!

Last year we parked outside the airfield at Duxford to watch the Flying Legends fly over. I took this picture of Mummy sitting in the car, but ended up with a nice picture of grasses - still, it does look a bit arty, so I've used it.



The jouralling on this should be readable!

Many Patterned Papers!

Been on a run of creating paper layouts recently. I bought myself a bunch of Jillibean Soup papers because they looked scrummy and were calling out to me.



This was my first attempt at it and it does look better in real life. The pictures have darkened a bit too much. My folks feeding birds at Portishead earlier in the year. My Dad was throwing bread at my Mother so the seagulls flocked around her!

More from Melman!

Couldn't have been happier when Stacey Towers latest kit included a giraffe-print paper and some giraffe elements. I've not used them all up in this layout as I want to spread my Giraffe Joy. I did a colour overlay (lighten layer) on the giraffe print so that it would more closely resemble Melman's fur.

I did these a couple of weeks ago, and then took the pictures last week, finally remembered to add them to my Blog!

This one is another of the Road Trip pictures. The ice box that we carted round with us for the fortnight and it kept our cheese cold.

Still in digital land for my weekly challenges. I did a couple of paper layouts last week and I have taken their pictures, just need to pop them on here. If someone can come over and chivvy the builders on so I can scrap in a nice scrapping room, that would be fab. Roll on July!!
