Ciao!

Created this layout for the latest challenge on the Scrummy Stash Cafe Blog - use chipboard! This has a chipboard swirl and some chipboard buttons.

The picture was taken way back in 2003 on a trip to Venice with some friends. At the time I didn't even make up photo albums, so this picture has just been filed away in a box, unused, never looked at. So I'm planning on taking a bunch of shots from this trip and making up some layouts. Today I have also made this:

Used K&Co Maison.

Scones!

I made this layout for Scrapdolly's Class on UKScrappers. Just took these pics this morning and as I don't have a colour printer I thought they'd be perfect to use as digis.

Pencil Lines #92

Here is my version of Pencil Lines sketch #92. Picture taken last month on a bus tour of Glasgow. This was actually the best photo of all of them as they were taken on a grey and rainy day through the bus windows!

My Own Digi - pt.2

This time I explored some of the effects that I'd not tried before. Bevel Edges for the flower and buttons, adding some shine, distortion and intensity to them. I think they've come out looking a little bit like gel stickers, which is no bad thing. Tried to add some stitching as well, think that needs some more work, but I've only just started stitching on "proper" layouts, so, trial and error!

My Own Digi!

I decided to try my hand at creating my own digi layout from scratch. The flowers were pretty easy, the papers took a while and it's not too bad. However, it really is lacking depth. I suppose I just keep trying and seeing what I can come up with.

Summer in the City

I took this in Victoria Park, Glasgow last month. The weather looked hopeful, it was warm, the sky was bright and the sun was just trying to come out. Sadly, the sun was soundly beaten by the clouds and finally by the rain, which totally washed out our croquet match and put out our barbeque. Still, that's the joy of a British Summer, you never know what you're going to get.

I decided to stick with the sun for this one, brighten it up with this Scenic Route: Grafton paper (Maxwell Avenue) and just pretend that it never rained that day.

Created for the current Scrummy Stash Cafe challenge - Summer Theme.

Tonight's Digi

Created during the ad breaks in Britain's Next Top Model because all my paper-scrapping kit is upstairs and my tv is downstairs!

Created from ScrapGirls freebies, Simply Sweet Designs & Mel's Lightbulb Moments.

Guggenheim

I used the inspiration on the Scrap Schemes blog to make the flowers - they were fun, but took AGES! I've never done so much stitching or button-stacking before.

Picture taken at the Guggenheim in New York where they had a mirror installation at the time (2004).

Here are some close-ups because I've finally figured out that setting on my camera!

Fake Easter

Another Digi for today. I used the free kit from ScrapWow for this one.
